For over 100 years, Anton Debatin GmbH has established itself as a leading provider of safe packaging solutions. As a manufacturer of logistics and film packaging, environmental protection is a top priority at Anton Debatin. For two years, the company has voluntarily published a comprehensive sustainability report and was the first company to receive the Sustainability Champion Award.
The product portfolio covers a wide range of laboratory-safe, tamper-evident and shipping-safe solutions, including mailing envelopes, document pouches and pressure-seal bags. Anton Debatin is currently in the process of developing the medical market as a new product segment.
Without tacto
Implementing the REACH regulation used to require an enormous amount of manual work at Anton Debatin. In order to ensure that certain substances were not present in the supply chain, numerous supplier information requests had to be made, documented in a structured manner and regularly updated. The research effort was particularly high at article level, as the information was often not available centrally or was difficult to automate.
In addition, the expansion of the Medical segment necessitated even greater transparency regarding the materials used in order to be able to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.

Outlook with Tacto
In addition to REACH, Anton Debatin is also planning to use Tacto to digitally map other regulatory requirements - for example in the area of packaging and environmental legislation. In future, the platform is to be established as a central tool for compliance, material transparency and supplier communication.
