As a pioneer of steer-by-wire technology, the family-run company supplies innovative solutions to leading manufacturers of mobile machinery and special vehicles worldwide.

In recent years, ME MOBIL ELEKTRONIK's Procurement department has been confronted with continuous price increases for certain components. These increases were often implemented in small steps over a longer period of time - sometimes without clear, comprehensible justification.

Until now, Procurement has lacked the ability to evaluate these price developments in a structured manner over several years and to objectively scrutinize them. This made it challenging to introduce targeted counterarguments in negotiations - especially with long-standing suppliers, where historical comparative data was often scattered or unavailable.

As a result, price increases were often accepted without the actual plausibility being checked or negotiated.
