Customer description
For several decades, Anlagenbau Günther GmbH (ALBG), which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2024, has represented an outstanding brand in the recycling industry. ALBG specializes in the manufacture of sorting, separating and screening machines for the environmental and recycling industry. These innovative technologies play a crucial role in reducing waste and recovering valuable raw materials from waste. In this way, they contribute significantly to the preservation of the environment.
All technologies are developed, planned and built in-house at the Wartenberg site.

Without tacto
For many medium-sized companies, the introduction of new software solutions is associated with complex IT projects. Especially in industrial companies with limited IT resources, the integration of new tools is often seen as a risk - associated with long project durations, a high need for coordination and uncertainty regarding the data structure.
At ALBG, too, the initial expectation was that the introduction of a new purchasing platform would tie up a lot of time and resources. A solution had to be found that was ready for use without months of preparation - ideally without complex interface projects.
With Tacto
Tacto enabled ALBG to connect seamlessly via the CSV interfaces provided. The existing data could be transferred and processed automatically within a very short time - without any additional IT workload.
Results achieved
Complete integration in less than two days thanks to simple data provision
No additional software installation or system conversion required
Minimum effort for IT - maximum impact for Procurement and controlling
"It took less than two days for our IT department to create the required SQL scripts. Tacto provided exactly the CSV files we needed and the scripts could be customized within two days."

Outlook with Tacto
Following the quick and smooth start, ALBG is now planning to actively use further functions of the platform - particularly in the areas of spend analysis, product group management and supplier evaluation. The simple integration has created the basis for scaling data-based purchasing processes with minimal IT effort.
