Tacto is the leading procurement operations system for mid-cap industrials. For this, we were also awarded the BME Procurement Excellence Award (SME) by the German Association of Materials Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME).
Leading medium-sized companies trust us:
Two and a half years ago, Weinmann had no digital purchasing solutions and only used traditional tools such as an ERP system, Word and Excel. Jan Herburg recognized the need for digitalization to cope with unstable supply chains and unpredictable bottlenecks, especially due to events such as the Suez Canal blockade and the COVID-19 pandemic.
"With Tacto, I can compare prices paid with the modeled target prices at the touch of a button and call up this data immediately for every negotiation. Tacto offers an outstanding opportunity to reverse price increases from the past. And that is now one of the main tasks of purchasing: to reverse price increases!"
In the procurement department at SED Flow Control, one of the biggest challenges was the lack of transparency regarding supplier data and the procurement volume. There was no option to evaluate suppliers in the ERP system, nor was there a supplier information tool or cockpit through which data about suppliers could be obtained.
"With Tacto, around 20% of the time previously spent preparing for supplier meetings is no longer needed. Sales and price developments can be viewed at the touch of a button. Tacto also displays the general supplier performance and development at the touch of a button and thus immediately identifies risks that can be addressed directly in discussions with the supplier."
Due to the decentralized organization at WEGU, considerable challenges arose in purchasing, including duplicate work processes and inefficient data management. The use of Excel for supplier evaluations and manual processing led to incorrect results and increased time expenditure. By implementing a central purchasing system, WEGU was able to overcome these problems. Automated processes and a standardized database reduced manual effort and significantly improved efficiency, allowing strategic projects to be driven forward.
"Our aim is to return to a central purchasing organization with central processes (e.g. TISAX) and at the same time to establish a uniform product group management system. This comprehensive project can only be realized through the use of Tacto. Tacto is essential for us to successfully implement our transformation process towards centralized purchasing."
The overriding challenge at Hesse Lignal was to transform purchasing, establish it as a strategic value driver for the company and develop it in line with the company's objectives.
"With the support of Tacto, we can devote ourselves to the really important and strategic questions in purchasing, namely 'How do we manage the product groups and suppliers based on our strategic goals?"
The strong growth of Oculus brought with it considerable challenges in purchasing. Manual procurement processes and decentralized data management led to inefficient work and a lack of transparency. Sven Weber was looking for a tool that would make the data situation visible and transparent and at the same time automate supplier management. With the introduction of a modern purchasing operating system, Oculus was able to streamline processes, drive forward strategic projects and efficiently ensure security across all parts.
"By implementing the supplier management system, we not only have transparency about which suppliers we order which parts from and in what quantities, but we also have information about the capabilities and certificates of these suppliers - all in a single tool."
