Broetje Automation, a globally active mechanical engineering company for aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing, was faced with increasing production requirements and new regulations such as the Supply Chain Act (LKSG). Traditionally manual and error-prone processes as well as scattered data sources made supplier evaluation, which was previously carried out using Excel spreadsheets and took weeks, more difficult.

By introducing the Tacto purchasing software, Broetje was able to digitalize these processes efficiently. Tacto offers customizable questionnaires and evaluation logics that can be tailored to specific supplier groups. As a result, Broetje was able to increase the response rate for supplier surveys to over 85% and reduce supplier evaluations, which previously took weeks, to just a few days. The central management of all supplier data made it possible to track the status of supplier relationships at any time and provide relevant information quickly.

The digitalization of supplier processes was crucial to the success of the last audit. The auditors were impressed by the transparency and traceability of all data. With Tacto, Broetje was also able to create action plans directly from the platform, making future audits even more efficient.

The collaboration between Broetje and Tacto shows how digital solutions can help medium-sized companies to optimize their supplier processes, successfully pass audits and secure their long-term competitiveness.
